Your wedding favours are a way of saying thank you to your guests, a small token of your appreciation for their sharing in your special day.
Traditionally guests would receive a small bag or box containing 5 sugared almonds representing the five blessings of Health, Wealth, Happiness, Long Life and Fertility. Now, of course, your wedding favours can be almost anything to reflect your own taste, budget and personality.
It’s the finer touches at a wedding that help build and make your day into everything you have dreamed of so even though favours are a small gesture of your appreciation, they can also be the most sentimental part for your guest to receive on your day.
I loved my favours I done, I did feel that I would have liked to have gone a bit further however I had to keep in mind that I had to add them to my baggage allowance for me jetting off to Cyprus, so I went for miniature bottles of either Vodka and Jack Daniel for the gents and small vintage bags with a heart shape candle for the lovely ladies, Kids had small bottles of sweets, bubbles and kids entertainment books so I’m hopeful that my guest were pleased.
I have put together some suggestions that will hopefully give you the inspiration you are looking for and will help make your guest feel appreciated.
